*Naruto has to hide his grin as he sits down behind Haseo, trying to gently remove some of the knots near the bottom with his hand once he's settled.*

... can't promise I won't pull your--Haseo's--hair, but I'll try my best.

*He starts from the bottom, holding onto the hair above the comb so that Haseo won't feel the tugging. He's quietly marveling at how it feels at the same time. It's almost.. silky, and Naruto can't help but feel a little jealous. Naruto's hair is like straw, both in look and texture. It's gotten better since he started using a bit of conditioner at the ends recently, but still....*

*Quietly.*

Haseo's hair is really fine and it's long, so it tangles easily. You start at the bottom and work your way up, slowly, or it'll take even longer to get all the knots out. Going slow is the fastest way.

Nah, I didn't find this stuff out until I was doing stuff with Sexy no Jutsu. It takes me an hour to comb my hair in that form. It takes even longer if I get impatient and then it hurts, too.

*He hmms as he works out a particularly large knot.*

Y'know, your hair is long enough that you should be conditioning the ends, just a little. It'll be more manageable that way.

*And then, quieter.*

... Thanks. I've never had the chance to comb someone else's hair before. Hell, don't ever remember someone combing out mine before. And your hair is... nice.

*Naruto eventually gets all the knots out, but runs the comb through Haseo's hair a few more times before his movements finally slow. Who knew Haseo liked having his hair brushed out so much? It must feel nice--not that Naruto would know. Either way, Naruto enjoys the silence, surprisingly, because Haseo is calm and his anger has been defused for now.*

*He leans forward to hand back the comb, mouth unconsciously near Haseo's ear.*

*Naruto stays there for a moment longer than necessary because he's having a vicious argument inside of his own head. He can sense, however, the slight tensing of Haseo's muscles that accompanied the catch in Haseo's breath. As if he's waiting for Naruto to attack him.*

*And it's because of the tenseness that Naruto withdraws before doing anything to Haseo, going around to search for his own comb. He's gone from quiet to chattery in the space of a moment, letting the noise give Haseo time to recollect himself.*

Ah, shit! I'm all about the knots in your hair and forgot about the ones in mine! It must look pretty awful by now!

*He's blushing slightly as he finds his comb and starts making quick work of his hair. Naruto's going through it haphazardly, so much unlike the care he showed Haseo's own hair a few moments ago.*

Got picked on about it by some of the adults back home when I was little. I guess they didn't like the Kyuubi container having almost the same blond hair and blue eyes as the Fourth Hokage. Both are pretty rare where I come from.

So, yeah, I guess.. I've never really had anyone else's opinion but theirs about it.

Why do you care so much about what other people think of you? It's your hair, not theirs.

Blond is rare where I come from too, except if you're a foreigner, but that just means everyone secretly thinks it's exotic and cool-looking even if they badmouth it. A lot of girls with black hair bleach theirs to emulate it. And some people get picked on because they do, I guess. But you don't have a choice, unless you're going to go to all the effort of, I dunno, dying it black just because some bunch of people think you should.

.. It's not 'cause I have blond hair, it's 'cause I'm blond and so did the Fourth. People really hate my whisker marks, though, back home. All of them just see Kyuubi instead of me. It'd.. would've been easier if I hadn't of looked so much like him, I think. People just don't like associating a "monster" with the village's hero.
